Device Status and Alarms

The Andel Cloud mobile app provides a live overview of all your connected devices. You can view device status, recent events, and active alarms in real time.

Viewing Device Status

To view your devices:

1. Tap the Devices tab at the bottom of the screen

2. You'll see a list of all devices that you have access to in the selected scheme

3. Tap on a device to go through to the device details page, which shows:

   • Device name

   • Device Cloud ID (give this ID to Andel if you have any technical issues)

   • Date the device last checked in or had settings changed

   • Key device information including the hardware and firmware versions, and when it was created

   • The device location in the estate system

   • Summary of live and archived events

   • The device's latest reported state, including sensor status, WiFi signal strength, and battery percentage

Tenants will only see the devices assigned to their zones, while scheme owners can see all devices.

Alarms and Events

Devices that are currently in alarm will appear in the alarms tab at the bottom of the screen. The icon for this will show a number in a red circle indicating the number of devices that are currently in alarm.

Events are displayed similarly, with the number of live events shown in a red circle above the button for the events page.

Within the events page are two tabs - live events and archived events. Live events are currently ongoing, while archived events have since been cleared.
