Account Management
Owners can manage their own account settings from within the web portal. This includes updating your personal details, changing your password, managing notification preferences, switching schemes, and verifying your email.
This page covers everything you can do in your profile section.
Accessing Your Profile
To access your account settings:
Click your name or profile icon in the top-right corner of the portal
Select Profile from the dropdown menu
Updating Your Details
In your profile, you can:
Change your full name
Update your email address (you’ll need to verify the new one)
View your current role
Change your password
If you update your email address, you will temporarily stop receiving email notifications until the new address is verified.
Changing Your Password
You can change your password at any time from your profile.
Click Change Password
Enter your current password, then your new password
Confirm and save
Your new password must meet the following criteria:
At least 8 characters
Includes one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character
Email Verification
You must verify your email address to receive email notifications from the system.
When you first register, you’ll receive a verification email
If you update your email address, a new verification email will be sent
If you’re unsure whether you’re verified, check your profile or ask an Admin to resend the verification
Email verification is required for both notification delivery and password resets.
Managing Notification Preferences
You can choose how you’d like to receive alerts:
Go to Profile > Notifications
Choose whether to receive:
Push notifications (via the mobile app)
Email notifications (to your verified email address)
Choose whether to apply these settings to:
The current scheme only
Or all schemes you have access to
See for more details
Switching Schemes
If you have access to more than one scheme:
Click your profile icon
Select Switch Scheme
Choose from the list of schemes assigned to your account
The portal will reload with data from the selected scheme. Your role may differ between schemes, depending on how your access was configured.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
To enhance security, Andel Cloud supports optional Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). When enabled, MFA requires you to enter a time-based one-time code (TOTP) from an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, after entering your password.
Enabling MFA
Go to Profile > MFA Settings
Click Enable MFA
Enter the long code into your preferred authenticator app
Enter the 6-digit code displayed by the app to confirm setup
Once enabled, you’ll be prompted to enter a verification code every time you log in.
If you lose access to your authenticator app, you will lose access to your account - contact Andel support so we can clear your MFA and initiate a password reset.
